UC Police Department Town Hall Invitation
From Staff Reports
The Union City Police Department invites everyone to join them on Thursday February 21st at 6PM at the Union City Vol Fire Dept’s Social Hall for a special townhall meeting. Residents who attend will have the opportunity to ask questions of the chief and officers.
Water and cookies will be provided. Business cards and other handouts will be given out as well.
There will be two major talking points on the evening:
1) The Police Chief will be accompanied with the other police officers to give out important information about the operations of the police department and
2) They will be giving out information on the formation of a local Neighborhood Watch Group
Afterwards they will leave the floor open for questions. If you are somebody who just wants to come and listen, you are more than welcome to. If you are somebody who wants to come and ask questions, then you are more than welcome to do that as well.
Many times the department are asked questions including: What are our normal office hours? How do I talk to an officer after hours? How do I file a complaint? This is your chance to come and get those questions answered. The police departments mission is to better serve you! The bigger the turnout, the better the meeting can be.
