Union City and Corry Team Up To Find Equipment
From Chris Lash
Publisher Union City and Corry recently received a grant from ECGRA totally $70,000 with matching funds. So both communities are on the hunt for a special piece of equipment known as a pugmill. A pugmill makes all road pavement milling waste. Paving milling itself removes the surface of a paved road, and the milling waste can be used to fix potholes, make road repairs, and berms along a highway. While current milling waste can be used, the equipment makes it easier and better, for future use.
So far both towns haven’t found a pugmill in their budget range. Either municipality doesn’t want to use any tax dollars, to purchase the machinery.
