March Ends Like A Lamb in Union City
Erie County ended a decidedly snow-free March with an inch of the white stuff on Sunday, but only in or near the city itself.
The inch of snow measured at the Erie International Airport on Sunday pushed the March snowfall total to 4.9 inches, or nearly 9 inches below normal for the month, according to National Weather Service in Cleveland data. The 90.1 inches of snow measured for the season is a little more than 7 inches below normal for Erie and is 70.2 inches below where Erie was during the record-breaking winter of 2017-18, according to the data.
Temperatures will warm up into the 50’s in Union City for three days this week.
