French Creek Festival 2019
By Chris Lash Publisher
“It’s fun, we get to see people, even in town, that we might not have seen for months, and of course we have the best fireworks in the entire area.” was a description of how they feel about the yearly French Creek Festival.
Organizers of the event from Union City Pride/Downtown Development were again very pleased with the turnout Friday night before and during the fireworks display.
Delicious food from the Union City Volunteer Fire Department’s chicken bbq, to fried Oreo’s from one of the visiting food trucks, allows everyone who attends to partake once a year, in something special.
What can be said about the fireworks, that hasn’t already been said? It’s been talked about and shared on social media for years. They are truly the best display in all of Erie County, if not further.
Also very popular again was the Family Zone area, which included unique bounce houses for the kids, along with games, and a special apprearance of the Erie Traveling Zoo, presented by the Erie Zoo.
To the organizers, volunteers, organizations, food and other vendors, thank you for another great hometown event.
